I’m Louise Palmer (you can call me Lu),
With a background in project management, sustainability, events and communications, I offer freelance support to SMEs and event businesses. My specialism is sustainability consultancy but I also offer event management and virtual assistant services.
Eco-friendly, low impact, sustainable solutions - whatever you call it, it’s one of the biggest trends that’s emerged in recent years for businesses, and now SMEs need to get on board too.
Reducing and measuring your environmental impact, either as a business or by designing sustainable events, can seem complex, but it’s what todays consumers - and clients - are demanding.
Many professionals are playing catch up on green skills, or are simply too busy in their day-jobs to add “save the planet” to their to do list. This is where I can help.

My story so far…
I’ve always been “into sustainability” but like much of the world, something shifted in 2020 and I set out on a mission to make it my day job, and give my career more purpose.
Since then I’ve been upskilling in the complex world of emissions reporting, sustainability strategies, and training development. All whilst delivering engaging live experiences with impact.
This shift has given me a fantastic platform for more public speaking and stakeholder engagement - two things vital to successfully embedding sustainability into business.
Along the way I’ve found that my marketing and events skillset has been invaluable, and allowed me to collaborate and educate others through creative and engaging content.
Achieving your sustainability goals requires behaviour change, and that’s were my unique background can help you to achieve your own environmental goals.
Now I’m helping businesses and event organisers produce work with purpose and be kinder to nature.
